Vaping

« Back to Glossary Index

Vaping refers to the act of inhaling vapor produced by an electronic device known as a vaporizer or vape pen. Unlike traditional smoking, which involves combustion and the inhalation of smoke, vaping operates by heating a liquid, often called e-liquid or vape juice, to generate vapor.

The vapor is then inhaled through a mouthpiece attached to the vape device.

However, it’s important to note that the long-term health effects of vaping are still being studied, and there are ongoing debates about its safety and potential risks.
