Blunt

« Back to Glossary Index

Blunt is made when a blunt wrap is hollowed out and filled with cannabis or CBD-rich hemp flowers creating a cigar. Blunts are a popular method of consuming these flowers, particularly in social settings, and are favored for their potency, slow burn, and ease of sharing among multiple people.

To roll a blunt, the tobacco filling is removed from a cigar, leaving behind a hollow shell. The shell is then filled with ground flowers and sealed by moistening the edges of the cigar wrap and pressing them together.

Once rolled, the blunt is typically smoked like a regular cigar, with one end lit and the other end placed in the mouth for inhalation. The tobacco wrap of the blunt burns slowly, allowing for a longer and more enjoyable smoking experience.
